Working Principle

For triaxial tests, the prepared soil sample is wrapped in a rubber membrane and placed in the pressure chamber. Confining and back pressures are applied as required, while the worktable shears the sample at the specified rate until failure. Test data is collected via pressure sensors and a 0-150mm displacement sensor for post-processing.
Confining and back pressures are controlled using water as the medium, where the required pressure is generated by compressing water through forward/backward movement of the pressure regulating cylinder piston.
