Excitation Control

Generates a precise low-frequency square wave or DC pulse to drive the coils, creating a stable magnetic field across the flow tube.

Signal Acquisition

Captures the tiny induced voltage generated by the conductive liquid moving through the magnetic field via high-impedance electrodes.

Signal Processing & Conversion

Amplifies, filters, and digitizes this raw signal, compensating for noise and zero-point drift. Converts the data into a readable flow rate and totalizer values, outputting them via analog or digital interfaces.

Classification by Power Supply Type

AC Powered PCBs (Mains Operated)

Typically designed for 85-265V AC operation. Offers higher excitation power, making them suitable for large-diameter flowmeters or applications with demanding lining requirements.

DC Powered / Battery Operated PCBs (Low Power)

Designed for 24V DC industrial loops or battery-powered operation. Features ultra-low power consumption (often using coil excitation at a very low frequency or intermittent measurement mode) to extend battery life in remote water metering applications.

Classification by Excitation Mode

DC Pulse (Low Frequency) PCBs

The most common type for industrial applications. Uses a low-frequency rectangular wave to eliminate DC interference and polarization effects, ensuring high stability.

Dual-Frequency Excitation PCBs

Advanced boards that combine low-frequency stability with high-frequency noise immunity. Essential for measuring fluids with high solid content (like slurry or paper pulp).
