Electromagnetic Electrode

Electromagnetic electrodes are critical components used in electromagnetic flowmeters (magmeters). Based on Faraday’s Law of electromagnetic induction, these electrodes detect the voltage generated when a conductive liquid flows through a magnetic field. Typically made from corrosion-resistant materials and mounted flush with the liner of the flowmeter, they ensure accurate signal transmission without obstructing fluid flow.

Advantages
The electrodes pick up this voltage signal and transmit it to a converter, which then calculates the flow velocity and volumetric flow rate. This allows for precise monitoring and control of liquid processes.
