Advantages

- Compensation you can actually match to the site. Reference temperature, coefficient, manual temperature and sensor factor are all writable, so the electrode can be brought into agreement with a laboratory or a reference meter.
- Faults that announce themselves. Overrange, calibration failure and missing-temperature-sensor codes are readable at address 0x09.
