Working Principle
Ultrasonic waves propagate through solid media. Voids, cracks, honeycombing or loose zones inside concrete will lengthen wave travel time and reduce wave velocity.
Transmitter → emits ultrasonic pulse
Receiver → captures transmitted waveform
Unit calculates sound time & pulse velocity
Variation of velocity indicates material quality and hidden defects
